System administrators are responsible for day-to-day operations support for Datacenter Windows Servers.
Maintain that AD and Hyper-Visor servers are running without any degradation.
Primary management of corporate Server infrastructure
Monitor and Manage Server Resources to ensure the effective running and smooth functioning of applications, escalate abnormal usage and resolve the same
Perform Troubleshooting and diagnosis of Servers and Storage
Configure of Microsoft AD with DNS, DHCP, User Creation and Group Policies
Maintain Backup AD Server configuration
Make changes in Server after getting due authorization thru Change Control Management
Co-ordinate with vendors for issues with storage and servers.
Manage details of Servers
Provide support to internal support teams.
Document Server Infrastructure and configuration changes and diagrams
Co-ordinate with AMC to close the issues related to Server access
Implement and administer Server hardware and Operating Systems
Ensure Server Security.
Apply Patches, Updates on Servers.
Ensure the Servers is physically secure
Design and configure server and storage infrastructure with redundancy.
Demonstrate POC for new Server technologies for improvement in Server and Security
Provide L2 support.
